Cup Tie at the Reebok

Bolton Wanderers 4-0 Lincoln City
FA Cup 3rd Round; attendance 11,193

Get yourself to that football ground for a 3 O'clock kick off. Even if that means being on a packed train from Deansgate station, Manchester to Horwich Parkway. A cramped carriage of both Lincoln and Bolton fans, two bicycles and people back from their holidays with airport baggage.

Reebock Bolton
First half was a rather tame affair. Not many attempts on goal. Got to thinking that the cheerleaders before kick-off had been the best entertainment I'd seen. Toes were now frozen, top tip three pairs of socks for tomorrow's match. Second half and my mate Dave remarked it's got 0-0 all over it. Well how wrong. Two goals in a minute and right into the corners of the net just below us. Suppose we've got our money's worth now. A third followed later thus putting the game beyond reach for the visitors. For those who waited for added time there was a fourth.
Reebock BoltonBest bits of the day : The Reebock Stadium, it's modern and out of the box but totally functional and efficient. The Bolton fans singing the song about Owen Coyle from the days when he played for the Wanderers. Don't think he'll be coming back as manager.

Admission £13; bus & train combined ticket £5.30, coffee £1.35
