Actually hadn't built my expectations for this game, mentally prepared for going out of the tournament. What do I know? Glad I gave up gambling I've saved a fortune since my predictions are usually wrong.
Can hardly believe United have made it to the semi-final. Only one cracking goal, and what a beauty of a shot way, way out from 40 metres by Ronaldo. You're then wishing for that two goal cushion. Didn't happen but came close. The defence looked steady with Ferdinand and Vidic back together and O'Shea being dependable. Let's keep it that way until the end of May.
The nervous last ten minutes, plus the 3 minutes injury time. We're thinking being a football fan isn't that enjoyable. Why do we put ourselves through this. Sitting on one goal against a team with previous for last minute match wreckers. A drained but happy red.
