I was at the FC United v. Prescot Cables game (see previous post) and following this game by checking the mobile phone for updates on the web. Also listening to people around me giving out scores - "The Bitters are winning, Chelsea are a goal down against Stoke". It remained 0-0 and resigned myself to a draw. Full time and made my way to the exit steps. There is a big Tv with a crowd around it. Get told United have won with a last minute goal by Berbatov. Straight into good mood mode for the walk uphill to the tram stop.
That means you can watch "Match of The Day" on BBC1 to see how it went. You don't see how it went. You see the highlights which is good goal stopping by Jaaskelainen and Bolton trying to get a point from the game.
Probably got another 3 months of this - home team turns out to get a draw and United eventually getting the late, late winner when everyone is exhausted.
