A goal up in three minutes. Ronaldo gets his 100th for the club with a blinding free kick. Good mood all round. United looked a class act today totally dominating the match. Highlights for me was Danny Welbeck coming on and scoring a cracker. I was pleased for him, and scoring on your Premiership debut is an achievement. Obviously Ronaldo bagging two, the second one was at our end, in front of the Stretford and is featured in the blurry, jerky video above. Even Manucho coming on as a sub and nearly scoring. It's good to see the lads from the Reserves coming through. Johnny Evans and Danny Gibson need to play matches like this, and that's what teams at the bottom end like Stoke City are here for.

All the fuss about Delap's throw-ins, was just fuss. Okeh he can pitch the ball a long way but United dealt with his high balls. In the end he stopped doing them.
