Disappointing draw at Everton

Everton 1-1 United
Premiership 2008-09 attendance 36,069
When this fixture was published with a noon day kick-off I thought great. Get down the pub, finish at 1400h, then get the bus outside to go see a local Non-League game - Trafford v. Durham City. All wrong, not on Sky Tv and the local game is cancelled 'cos Durham are at home in the FA Cup. Next step find a Plan B which was the unreliability of web streaming Tv.

First half United looked awesome sat in front of the laptop. Fast, furious paced game and Fletcher scores a great goal. As for the second half Everton played their best football all season. United's defence did well to sustain the pressure. But unless you have your 2 goal cushion the game remains in the balance. Everton eventually scored and unfortunately there was no second goal from the few opportunities that United created. Didn't even threaten from any of Ronaldo's free kicks - maybe Giggs should take a few of them. Oh well, go out, watch a local match and think about the next fixture on Wednesday.

As for dodgy streaming web Tv it's still freezes at inappropriate moments and I'd never pay good money for it. But it's more widely available, which must annoy the satellite broadcasters a little bit.
