Boston overcome FC United
FC United 0-1 Boston United

Didn't think I'd be going to this game, but a car lift off the my old mate settled the matter. Boston brought up several hundred noisy supporters, the biggest away fan following I've seen at Gigg Lane. They'll be going back to Lincolnshire very pleased they took the points.
As with Saturdays game, bright attacking play but chances kicked high into row 50 at the finish. Boston looked the more professional outfit and created plenty of openings of the FC defence. Fortunately it remained just 1 down at half time, could easily have been 3 or 4 down.
Second half and I thought FC would at least get an equaliser, especially afterJerome Wright came on as sub. But Boston packed the defence when needed and won the game. Oh well, this is going to a tough season the teams in this league are of sterner stuff than previous campaigns.
Game :32, admission £7.50. Didn't buy a programme or a cash draw ticket, had my own sandwich at the break. Credit crunch time but a good entertaining game.
Video is of the pre-match handshake business which has been copied from the Premier League but without the music. Not sure I approve. I'll get back to video editing clips together next month.
