FC Up Up Up

Got back from Old Trafford about half way through the first half of the FC United match. Fire up the laptop get the "visual internet radio" on. Oh dear, a goal down to the scousers. But fortunes soon turned around. A Skelmersdale player handled on the line. Red card, and a penalty kick. So evens before half time.

Thought to make the most of the nice weather. Connected one of those little FM transmitters to the laptop, we're now broadcasting across the house. We put out the reclining chairs, tuned into low powered Radio Biffa on 107.9 Mhz relaying FCUM-TV Radio and followed the game. The commentary is funny, rambling and would never be allowed at the BBC.

Soon it went 2-1 up , then 3-1. Skelmersdale reduced to 9 men with another red card. Rounded off with 4-1. I had my doubts about promotion this year but it has happened. Unibond Northern Premier League next season - Buxton, Prescot Cables, Eastwood Town, North Ferriby. Three successive promotions!!! The ten division love affair continues.
