Howay One Five

Newcastle United 1-5 United
O'Casey'sListened to the first half on Radio Five Live here in Den Haag. Excellent reception in the early evening. Thought at two nil up at half time we'd venture to O'Casey's round the corner for a few pints of Guinness and a possible goal fest. The rugby was on in the back of the pub and that was noisy so essentially watched on a big screen and couldn't hear much commentary. It looked so easy for United. Inviting Newcastle to come and attack and then pouncing back. Had a chat with a couple of Charlton Athletic fans during the game, and suprisingly you can still smoke until Dutch pubs (it gets banned in July 2008). Poor Mr.Keegan his face told it all - yet to record a win it can only get worse before it gets better. Best moment for me was when Ronaldo slipped over. Big cheer from the home town supporters. Only he gets up, receives a pass, beats a defender and another goal. Head in hands for the home fans.
