How come we're happy with a point?
Tottenham Hotspur 1-1 United att : 36,075
After listening to the first half on the radio I decided to take an afternoon nap. Tired, late night and no lie-in; but secretly hoping it would be a repeat of that famous comeback a few seasons ago when 3 nil down, turned off, had a kip and won 3-4. Eventually re-surfaced to the shouts downstairs of the Biffa herself - it was 1-1 with last kick of the game.
It's odd that a late equaliser feels as good as win. Sort of a Dunkirk spirit of getting beat but pulling off a minor coup by sharing the points.

Did United celebrate at the final whistle like Arsenal did against us? No, my friend, they didn't. Of course they celebrated the goal madly, that's to be expected of any last minute goal. It was the behaviour of Arsenal after the game that rightly got a few laughs from the United fans. They were close to carrying out a lap of honour!
Arsenal celebrating a draw at home to United the way they did cannot be compared to United celebrating a vital equalising goal with the last kick of the game away. United were celebrating the goal. Arsenal celebrated the result.
How come we're happy with a point? Well we're not. We're just happier with a point than we would be with nothing.
Those Arsenal celebrations were unbelievable you'd have thought it was a Cup Final winner.
Coming home with a point isn't too bad - better than none, and it means you can watch Match of the Day instead of having a media blackout and a ruined day.
