Boycott Call by FC board
You'd think non-league football way down at level 5 would be safe from TV companies changing your kick-off time. But it's happened. The Curzon Ashton v. FC United game has been moved to 1245h on Saturday 29th December. It's not even on proper telly but you pay £3.95 to watch it on your web connection (not suitable for Mac owners like myself).
The FC United board are calling for a boycott by supporters. I was looking forward to this top of the table clash as Man United are away at West Ham. But I'll have to support the boycott. Hopefully FC will be putting on an 'event' at the reserves team fixture. I'll go to that - that should bring my tally of footie matches attended to 39 this year.
