Onward to May and Beyond

Another year starts with good intentions, another season to play out. It's not that I'm bored with footie, or having life's agenda set by the FA & TV companies. But sometimes you want the game to offer a bit more. More than just emptying your pay packet or talking speculation about signings and possible results.
Here's wishing for a 17th title for big United, and promotion for FC United....

All I can thinkof so far is :
a) take better snacks to the match
b) start taking a hip flask again - it's winter
c) go to the UEFA Cup Final in Manchester (subject to not paying excessive amount for tickets)
d) watch a game at the three local grounds around here that I've not been to. So far down the pyramid they're in the desert sand, but they do have a club house & bar.
e) go to see my mate play for Woodley Cricket Club before he gets too old.
