Never in doubt : Fulham fall
What you don't need is a Monday night match. It's rained and hailed most of the day, now it's a dry crisp 3 degrees. We're here to see another victory in seven layers of clothing. You'll have have watched the game on TV and read the reports so what can I add...
a) From our seat I thought Ronaldo got a penalty, the bloke next to me, he's called Brian, thought it was a sending off for their goalie too. No it was diving and a yellow for Ronaldo. Unbelievable.
b) The Lino (don't know how long linesmen a.k.a. assistant refs have been called Lino, but I've been hearing it for a while now) gave some unpopular off-side decisions. Sometimes I think they just say off-side when in doubt. Time for technology to take over.
c) The attendance was over 75,000 but there were a lot of gaps and tickets could be obtained easily right up to the kick-off.
d) A lack of fire power but two great goals by Ronaldo, and three very needed points...it's tight at the top of the table
