The Guardian's The Season

The only good thing about the Monday before the football returns is The Guardian publishing it's little handy booklet called "The Season 2007-08". Usual predictions, everyone thinks they've got the way it will turn out before a ball is booted. The funny bits are when they compare the Premiership team to a car. Liverpool came out as a Hummer (heavy on defense), Bolton as a dinky toy.

Manchester United were a Rolls Royce : The biggest name in the game. Only the very best international engineering is allowed into this high-prestige vehicle. Considered by many at home and abroad to be the very embodiment of British success, a perception that persists despite the fact that it was sold to foreign owners.

Don't go to their fixture list it's out of date already.
